Dot Newton

Dot arrived in Australia some 30 years ago from Surrey England with her husband and two sons. Currently a serving Councillor with one of Australia's fastest growing local government areas just north of Perth, Dot is on many committees and is Patron of the Northern Suburbs Stroke Support Group. In England she was employed by the East Surrey Area Health Authority working in a busy section of the hospital designated to assist long term care patients and clients with MS.

She is actively involved in the provision of recreation and the arts, and is passionate about ensuring that all events are inclusive.
