Interpretation

In this Constitution:

1. 2.1 The word "Association" shall be deemed to be the Nican Incorporated.
2. 2.2 Unless otherwise identified, "the Act" shall mean the ACT Associations Incorporation Act 1991.
3. 2.3 The word "acknowledgment" means a permanently recorded acknowledgment of receipt or acceptance, such as a signature or personal mark made by a member, or advocate acting on the member's instruction.
4. 2.4 The words "appropriate format" refer to the format of documentation which may include [but is not limited to] in writing, braille, computer disk, audiotape, plain English transcripts, and other means that may be used.
5. 2.5 The words "recognised personal communication" refer to various forms of communication including [but not limited to] written, verbal, signaled, motion, signage, compic and other means that may be used.
